Football Royalty: Highlighting the
first annual Homecoming, held on October 18, was the
coronation of Miss Sandra Barber as 1957 football queen and
Miss Judy Findley and Miss Linda Harmony as her
attendants. A stimulating parade filled with gaily
decorated floats and happy people introduced Homecoming. The
usual brilliance of a football game was enhanced by the
halftime crowning of the queen and attendants, who were
presented small footballs and white mums.
