UPDATE JULY 2005:

Bill Coffelt and Ken Neuenschwander have completed a detailed inventory of the class pictures to be restored. They did a fantastic job of measuring and recording all details. To date, we have received $515 in donations, which is far short of what it will take to do the entire project. But, we have lots of time left before we begin in the Spring. If we don't have enough to complete the work this year, we will continue when we do.

Bill and Ken's work have brought to light another situation. You may remember, that this all came about in our effort to collect all senior class pictures for the website. We were able to scan the pictures in over 80 yearbooks and needed to photograph the hall pictures for years when no yearbooks were available. That's when we learned how fragile many of the frames were. We have learned from the inventory that we have the senior class pictures (from yearbooks) for six years that are NOT hanging in the halls. The years are: 1909, 1919, 1920, 1922, 1924, and 1925. This will also give us the opportunity to add those years to the hall pictures as well.

There is much work yet to do in the planning stage. We are researching frames and hanging devices and will keep you advised of our progress.
