Olathe--Graveside services for Benjamin Goddard, 1746 Main St. Terrace, Osawatomie, are set for 10 a.m. Thursday on Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Goddard, 20, was found dead at his home Sunday, March 9, 1997.

He was born in Olathe and spent most of his life on the Olathe area.

He was a 1995 graduate of the Osawatomie High School where he was a member of the golf team and of the National Honor Society. He worked as a carpet layer.

Survivors include his mother Betty Goddard, Olathe; his father and step-mother, Sterling A. and Katrina Goddard, Spring Hill; three brothers, Allen Goddard and Bruce Goddard, Paola; Mark Goddard, Osawatomie; three sisters Penny Roberts, Paola, Rebecca Richards, Loveland Colo. and Joanna Piccirillo, Olathe; and his grandmothers, Nettabelle Thurman, Olathe, and Katie Goddard, Spring Hill.

Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the W.L. Frye and Son Mortuary in Olathe.
