He practiced dentisty at Crossroads Correctional Center in Cameron, Mo., where he truly found his niche and had great empathy for his patients.

He enjoyed tending and putting up the produce from his garden. He won numerous blue ribbons at the Missouri State Fair.

Surviving are his mother, Marilyn Harville of Blue Springs, and two brothers, Steve Harville of Prairie Village and Jeff Harville of Olathe.

It was his wish to be cremated and to be buried next to his father in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial services are pending and will probably be in late August at the time of the Missouri State Fair. An online guest registrer can be signed at www.dwnewcomers.com. Arrangements are under the direction of D. W. Newcomer's Sons Blue Springs Chapel, 1600 Main St., Blue Springs, Mo 64015.
