Donald E. Holloman, 65, Fairfield, Ohio, an Osawatomie native, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004, in the Jewish Kenwood Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was born Aug. 21, 1938, in Osawatomie, the son of Virgil and Sadie Burgoon Holloman. He graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1956.

He served in the U.S. Army Reserves.

He and Linda Teeple were married Feb. 6, 1988, in Olathe.

Mr. Holloman was a contract engineer for Holloman and Associates.

He was a member of the Lighthouse Fellowship Church in Hamilton, Ohio, and Passion and Fire Worship Center in Mason, Ohio.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Dorothy Holloman; and his first wife of 25 years, Mary Jo Asmus Holloman.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Holloman of Fairfield; a daughter, Vicky Pittman of New York; three sons, Jeff Holloman of Iowa, Jeremie Teeple of Missouri and Scott Mackey of Alaska; four brothers, Virgil Holloman of Cincinnati, John Holloman and Charles Holloman, both of Kansas, and Clifford Holloman of Missouri; and six grandchildren.

Services were Tuesday in Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home in Osawatomie, followed by burial in Osawatomie Cemetery.
