Mrs. Donald Chester, Paola, died unexpectedly Monday in the Miami County Hospital. She was 38.

Delores Virginia Head Chester was born Nov. 6, 1932 in Stanton Township. She was a daughter of Earl and Bessie Hicks Head. She was a 1950 graduate of Osawatomie High School. On Dec. 27,1956, she was married to Donald Chester in Paola, where they have made their home and operated Chester Heating and Air Conditioning.

Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Kathy and Kimie, and a son, Mike, all of the home; two brothers, Clifford Head, Overland Park, and Donald Head, Paola; a sister, Mrs. Ronald King, Osawatomie; and her grandmother, Mrs. Letha Hicks, Osawatomie.

The Rev. R. B. Shoemaker will officiate at services at 2 p.m. Thursday in Runyan Chapel, Paola. Music will be provided by Mrs. David Reece and the soloist, Mrs. Charles Molina. Pallbearers will be Victor Hines, Roscoe Scott, Earl Christopher, Bob Gibbons, Emery King and Fred Rentz. Burial will be in the Osawatomie Cemetery.
