Clarice Beaver, 76, retired USD 259 teacher from 1954-1988, including Wichita Public Schools, Marshall Middle School, East and West High Schools, died March 27, 2004. Service 2 p.m. Friday, DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary. Preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Mary Beaver; brother, Eugene; and longtime companion, Rosella Towson.

Survivors: sister-in-law, Helen Beaver, of Cohoes, NY; aunts, Goldie Peak of Paola, KS, Lorenna Durland of Eureka Springs, AR.

Clarice graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1945.
