IDA BELLE CASE LANGKOP

JULY 9, 1900 - FEBRUARY 21, 1966

Mrs. Ralph Langkop, sister of J. L. Case, 420 Parker, died February 21, 1966, at St. Luke's hospital in Kansas City, MO after suffering a heart attack.

Mrs. Langkop, the former Ida Belle Case, was born July 9, 1900 at Osawatomie and was the daughter of John Martin and Isabel Hart Case. Her childhood and early girlhood were spent in Osawatomie where she served as pianist for the Methodist Church and for many school activities.

After graduating from Osawatomie High School in 1919, she was employed at the Farmers and Mechanics Bank, later joining the staff of the First National Bank in Kansas City, MO. She remained there until her marriage to Ralph Langkop on September 30, 1933.

She was a member of the Spring Valley Baptist Church of Raytown, MO, and was active in all departments of the church, especially in the church school and vacation Bible training.

Othere survivors include her husband of the home of Peculiar, MO; her daughter, Mrs. Juanita Rathjen of Garden City, MO; one son Ralph Langkop, Jr. with the U. S. Air Force in Amarillo, TX; and three other brothers, Frank Case of Paola, Ted Case of Coffeyville, and Charles Case of Neosho, MO.

Memorial services for Mrs. Langkop were held at the Mount Moriah Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Joseph C. Porter. Burial was in th Raymore, MO cemetery.
