Fred L. Yeater, a long time employee of the Missouri Pacific Railroad, died Tuesday at the Missouri Pacific Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. He was 71.

Fred graduated with the Osawatomie High School Class of 1910 and was living in Tucson, Arizona in 1960 when he attended his 50th reunion.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Eddy Chappel with the Rev. Frank McDowell officiating. Burial will be in the Paola Cemetery.
